Albert Ferrand

Al began painting in 1996, after an extensive career as a homicide investigator. The need to grow personally and escape from the stress from of everyday life led him into fine art.

A realist painter, bringing the viewer closer to the natural beauty of our world proves that life is not hinged upon suffering, but on love and beauty.

He enjoys painting "en plein air" California and Nevada landscapes. One of his favorite locations is on the Truckee River of which he has completed a series of twenty paintings.
